Top Law Schools

I will be applying to schools this fall. These are my stats: 163/3.96/URM/ applying directly from undergrad, and significant softs (competitive writing and research experience/awards). I am hoping for a T14, and thinking of GW, BU, or ND as safeties. Any recommendations on where to apply, chances at respective schools, or prospects of scholarships?

You should apply literally everywhere you want to go including HYS. That's not to say you're a favorite to get in to HYS, though I think your H chances are at least 50%, but you're going to get some bites and they're going to come with significant money.

If you had five more LSAT points I'd call you an almost lock for H and very competitive for Y and S.

This is one situation where I feel a retake would be VERY beneficial. I am not an expert but if you could get your LSAT up to a 170 you'd probably have a very good shot anywhere. And with significant scholarship money too. Good luck!
