Work Experience: 5 Years (mix of start ups & fortune 10 companies)
Other: First generation college student, 2 years of career-development mentoring for first generation college students, 1 year of non-profit board experience

Planning to apply at the very beginning of next cycle (Sept 1 - Sept 15)

Chances at: UVA, Michigan, Northwestern, Georgetown, USC

Goal: BigLaw

You will need to retake the LSAT unless you are a URM. First generation college probably not a big enough boost. Put in at least 500 hours of focused study (the forums here have helpful references). If you can get a 163, you can probably get a 170s with sufficient study. Law school admissions is a numbers game.

If you have not exhausted your retakes I’d suggest that.

To directly answer your question, I got into UVA with similar numbers applying ED in September when the app opened. That was multiple years ago so things may have changed.
