URM..Surprising Cycle So Far - Which T14 Should I Apply To?
So I'm having a good cycle so far, got into my top choice (Wash U). Now I'm thinking of applying for a T14 just for the heck of it. Here are my stats:
2.8/158 (avg of 2 scores)
URM-AA
6 Years Work Exp in Non-Profit Sector incl 3 years senior mgmt
Several other strong softs
Pretty good personal statement
Which T14 should I apply to? I'm considering Northwestern or Cornell. If anyone has any insight I'd be extremely grateful.

Well, I think if you are applying just for the heck of it you should apply to the place that you would most likely want to go! i know it is kind of shallow advice, but it seems that any T14 would be a reach, so why not apply to the one that appeals to you the most

True, but it would be great to apply to the school where I have even a slim shot at getting accepted rather than one that's completely unrealistic.horriblegb wrote:Well, I think if you are applying just for the heck of it you should apply to the place that you would most likely want to go! i know it is kind of shallow advice, but it seems that any T14 would be a reach, so why not apply to the one that appeals to you the most

If you are looking for the one you are most likely to be admitted to then TITCR.holydonkey wrote:Cornellcarlkenneth wrote:So I'm having a good cycle so far, got into my top choice (Wash U). Now I'm thinking of applying for a T14 just for the heck of it. Here are my stats:

Definitely Cornell, and if you have money for another, try Michigan as well for a Hail Mary.
