3.88/164....Fordham???

Hey...I wanted to just hear what people thought. I sent in my application on Dec. 4th. I am a three year graduate from a respectable undergrad, politics major business minor, studies abroad, great recs, solid work experience, community service, etc.
any thoughts?

Should be good- you are in the green zone, but applying in December is dangerous.

but arent most apps submitted after January? if so, why is early December dangerous?

He's exaggerating, but earlier is always better. You should be golden at Fordham, though. Late-ish apps are a bigger problem at the very top schools.

I'm not exaggerating. I talked to the head of our admissions office a few weeks ago. The school got flooded with applications this year, which is why they've been waitlisting everyone. Last cycle, people with quite competitive numbers were waitlisted for lack of space. This happened to my roommate, who was eventually admitted, but not without a very bumpy ride. Applying early is also the best way to get money.
I think OP will still get in, as Fordham likes high GPAs, but early applicants really do fare better here.
