So I just got an e-mail from UCLA inviting me to an April 8-10 admit weekend.
The email included very little information, but it said it was an all expense-paid trip, which is exciting. In small print, however, it mentioned that the weekend was "a unique opportunity to meet other under-represented students." ... Is this purely an admit weekend for minorities? Does anyone know about this? I don't mind either way; I'm just wondering what the weekend will entail.
This is especially interesting because I wasn't able to mark that my mom is Chilean on the application.

I would love to attend -- but why did they make it the same dates as the one and only Berkeley asw?!?!

Cornell also has an ASD this weekend. Stinks! If I were you, I would take the free UCLA trip and perhaps visit Berkeley some other time, but's that just me haha. Good luck choosing! (P.S.
