Finished my application. I'm not sure about downtown LA, though.

The area around the campus isn't the most attractive I'll admit. However, the heart of DTLA - LA Live - is a few blocks away from the Loyola Law campus. The actual campus itself is interesting looking, definitely not what you'd 'typically' expect from a law school campus. I like it, but I can see how it could be off-putting to some who might be expecting a more traditional looking school.

Has anyone received their status checker email? I applied back in October and have yet to receive it.

I applied mid-November and received the status checker link with the confirmation email the day after I submitted. Maybe check the spam folder?bg5178 wrote:Has anyone received their status checker email? I applied back in October and have yet to receive it.

Not at all. I've been checking religiously. My status checker has been left blank. Does yours (or anyone's) at least state "in review" or something along those lines?Megs12 wrote:Has anyone heard anything yet?

Based on charts made of previous year's admission cycle, it seems as though schools are more than less quiet end of December and more active from January on. I think for RD, no news is considerably good news and there's no need to worry (:
I applied as ED and haven't heard anything so that has chipped away at my hope a bit.
Good luck to everyone!

decision rendered today.
LSAT>75th
50th>GPA>25th
/shrug
makes me nervous that someone got an email with their acceptance.

I thought it was going to come in the mail w/ the admit packet, but it didn't. Read somewhere they "send scholarship info out on a rolling basis starting in January..." so take what you will from that :\crookedsmile wrote:Has anyone gotten their scholarship info yet?

Re: Loyola Law Los Angeles c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I checked the status checker a few days ago and it said my scholarship info's been mailed. I kind of live near the school so I didn't think I'd have to wait very long for it to arrive. Hopefully tomorrow!Lawser24 wrote:I thought it was going to come in the mail w/ the admit packet, but it didn't. Just got "decision rendered and is being mailed". Do I really have to wait for snail mail, or will they send an email later?
