I went 'in review' Monday. How did your friend find out? call, email, status checker?

i was verbally told by someone on the admissions committee to expect the first wave of decisions before thanksgiving, so if not today then hopefully we will hear something next week.

Submitted a couple of days ago! above gpa median, slightly above LSAT median. Any idea whether they'll be working throughout December//how long I should expect to be waiting

I'm pretty sure they take off on the 18th of December and come back on the fourth of January.

So, I got this as well, and decided to call Georgia State because I was confused as to what that meant. It doesn't mean a waitlist - what the admissions officer on the phone told me was that they review applications multiple times. It doesn't mean anything about being accepted/denied/waitlisted. Hope that helps! I was also told that it would probably take 4-6 weeks after the second review is pending to get a response - but that it varies.

I was wondering about scholarship info. Did they send you anything with your acceptance packet or have you contacted them at all? I was thinking about sending my admissions counselor an email asking what I should do to be considered for $$.
