Has anyone applied in January heard back or at least received interview request yet? I submitted my application on 1/1/2018, and have heard nothing so far

I went complete 12/4 and didn't get an interview request until 1/4.

Got the hold email today but my stats are minor splitter: 3.4 GPA, 176 LSAT. Anyone have any intel on what to expect??

Seems like the hold list usually gets WL but my LSAT is 9 above median so I am pretty lost.

Note: This was second LSAT, first was 164.
Note: GPA tanked sophomore year, rose enormously last two years

Is the held --> WL info based on previous cycles? I havent combed through old data yet

The intel I have gathered this info from just combing through forums on this site I thought the LSAT should be on the auto-admit side... I guess not.

I asked Spivey about holds and he said a good chunk of us will get in, so don't fret!

Had the group interview today. The Dean was amazing. When we left he told the group (12 people), that all of our decisions were already made and this was just a last step in the process. He asked that we give him about 2 weeks in order to have official decisions sent out.

Kind of odd that they'd have you interview if the decision was already made, no? When I did it he said that all of our files were on his desk and he was gonna go down immediately after haha

This past Wednesday! Hoping the two week time frame proves true. But I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the interview format - it was a nice experience.

Absolutely not and I say that as a pretty extreme splitter

+1. In my opinion, outside of YSH, no school is truly worth sticker if you have to finance it with loans. For example, if someone gets into CCN at sticker, they’ll probably have substantial $$$ from lower t13 which is just a smarter investment. However, how much debt you’re willingly to incur is a personal preference.

Georgetown is a dream school for me, especially their Global Scholars program. Due to some issues, I was not able to send my application until late December. My status checker shows application completed but there has been no movement in a couple of weeks and there is no status date showing. I want it to go UR so bad!
