And here I was hoping the Decision Finalized would actually mean something. Looking at trends, it would seem that - having not heard back as of 3:30 PT - this weekend is going to be a long one. What makes sending an email take so long?

Maybe they think you'll go somewhere better, and are nervous about the yield? I'm sure if you wrote to either LA school expressing serious interest, they'd love your LSAT?

I met with Dean Schwartz of UCLA and told him face to face UCLA was my top pick.

Yeah I'll probably withdraw from both and give it another go next cycle. Not expecting much scholarship money coming off a waitlist.

Anyone else get a mysterious email from J2 Cloud Services in Hollywood (eFax company), or is that just me? What a weird coincidence that makes the wait even worse.

It's a pretty crappy company based on a quick online search, so I would be astonished if USC utilized them. Probably just poorly-timed spam mail.

So if mine shows DF and I didn't receive an email, this isn't a good sign correct? I'm expecting a ding in my mailbox in the upcoming week because everyone has been saying less than 24 hours for the acceptance and waitlist email's. Is this the correct expectation? I am amazed I'm not a waitlist but it is what it is.

My friend who got denied received the decision through snail mail. Accepted applicants and waitlisted folks are emailed. If you didn't get an email I'd prepare for the worst. Sounds like a lot of YP rn too

When did you move to decision finalized? I was accepted on Thursday but I still have nothing under decision status so I wouldn't read into that.
