So everyone who reported a JS1b call this week got a JS2 yesterday?

Everyone in the thread who reported a JS1b also reported a JS2 except Jasper, though obviously he may have still gotten one. There is also another poster in the spreadsheet who reported a JS1b but not yet a JS2.

looks like last year there was a smallish wave of wl->admits immediately following the submission deadline for first wave wl-admits. Last year the submission deadline was around June 15th, and the second admit wave happened around June 25th. Considering this cycle has traditionally been a week faster then last, I'd expect a second wave around June 18th or so. Although i'd be easier to guess if one of the current wl->admits would share what their submission deadline is.

Yeah, I think some post-WL JS1s might hear back soon. Cautiously optimistic about more JS1bs as well (last year's May JS1bs were given out on two separate, non-consecutive days)

woah, weird. they didn't start doing the 24-hour period until the second wave last year. Might mean quicker movement for us still waiting!

It definitely might! They made a point of the 24hr thing during the JS1b's, too. Fingers MAD crossed for everyone in this thread, this didn't seem like an especially big wave - I'm sure more JS2's are coming soon.

One more question: if there are more JS2s today then how will the 24 hour decision period work? Would today's JS2s be given until the end of the weekend to commit?

Maybe, but the Wed/Thurs post-WL JS1's had 24 hrs to do their "HW" while Friday people had all weekend. Same could apply with offers.

Just strange that very few post-WL JS1's heard anything yesterday. But maybe there was a reporting/response bias. Still though, there is some time left today...

I am genuinely surprised no one's heard anything today. I was expecting (hoping??) today would be heavy with action. Boo, HLS. I still love you though.
