I literally just posted in the Financial Aid thread about this! I 100% agree--and I plan on asking about this at ASD this week. I would honestly say ND's COA seems to overestimate by at least $20K total.JustWannaGraduate wrote:Also just got a very slight scholarship bump. Not surprised, the only higher peer offer I had was Wash U, and they definitely know that Wash U throws money at high LSAT splitters like myself. $ is $ though.
Also, for anyone who is wondering - there's no way the ND COA on their website is anywhere close to what you'd spend. It's a severe overestimate. You can get rent there for 400-500 a mo easily if you live off campus, and easily live off $600 a month for food. just an FYI.

Same here. When did you send your app?Legallylawyer2020 wrote:Just wondering if anyone has any insight as to whether surviving the ding/WL waves the past two weeks is a good sign for my app or if it means nothing. I'm either UR2 or UR3 since 3/14

End of February because I took the February LSAT. I know I was complete 3/1 from my email. I did not start looking at status checker until around 3/12 and noticed the date was 3/10 and then it updated to 3/14. I am not sure if there was a date change between 3/1 and 3/10 though.intlbr wrote:Same here. I don't know what everyone else's was but mine was $1,000. I also came to them with a lesser offer from a school only a few spots ahead of them so I really didn't expect anything at all.amta wrote:what is a small bump? like 5k?

Got a 6k bump. Total 116k scholarship (that's a weird number lol). Sent Jake Baska an email telling him I will be matriculating. Time to start apartment hunting!

What was the subject line of the email notifying you all of an increase in scholarship? I received an email today, but it was regarding loans.

Same here. Applied after the Feb LSAT (on Feb 28). First date change was on 3/13, and now this.the guardians42 wrote:Current Status Date changed to 3/30/2017

I'm jealous! I was complete 3/1 and had date changes 3/10 and 3/14 but I've been stuck since 3/14 and am becoming discouraged...the guardians42 wrote:Dun Dun Dunnnnnn....intlbr wrote:Same here. well I sent mine at the deadline so this could be my equivalent of your 3/10 or 3/14 change if that makes you feel any betterLegallylawyer2020 wrote:I'm jealous! Anyone know when NDLS starts putting people on the waitlist? Is their waitlist ranked?
