i'm lsat=75/gpa<25 and i've seen people with my stats get 45-60k on mylsn but who knows. i wouldn't assume that i'm gonna get that

It's an interesting question to consider.

The way I look at it, 150k in debt (which is what I'd be looking at) is not too bad IF you will be able to work in biglaw.

However, only 40% or so of BC grads obtain that outcome. So it wouldn't be a sure thing and that debt with a lower paying job would be awful.

Then, I have a lot of interest in government work and clerkships. These would be considerably much harder to swing with that kind of debt.

I'll very likely end up at a T2 school that's offering me a full ride and large stipend in my home state. That way I'll be able to pursue some lower paying options that interest me more. And hey, if I somehow snag a biglaw gig there, I'll be able to enjoy the money a bit more!

i'm not advocating one way or the other, but if you look the breakdown of where bc grads work, the 40% number is actually a relatively high number considering a lot of grads go into PI, govt, corporate counsel, etc

I want to do biglaw and am in a similar dilemma in my decision. I set a max I'd be willing to pay per year for BC and my scholly offer came in as less than I thought I would get based on last year's LSN data. However, the employment and salary outcomes for BC make me much more willing to take on more debt. I hate that finances are so difficult for law school, especially since BC (and the city of Boston itself) are where I want to end up as of now.

This is a very good point. I don't want to make it seem like I think 40% is low - quite the contrary! It's almost as good as it gets outside the T14.

Got 51k. 167/superior. Heard BC does offer lesser to international students. :-/
Makes it a very difficult choice now. It's been one of my top choices for the last ten months or so.

To piggyback this, I have a 3.6/170 and I got 105k a couple of weeks ago. Not really a splitter for BC but there you go

I feel like BC bases their offers mainly off LSAT, for the most part. I just checked LSN and my offer is well within the norm for my LSAT score, but my GPA is over 75th and that doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Wish it had more influence though.
