For what it's worth, I was UR1 for 1.5 months before going UR2 earlier this month and getting admitted the next day - so I wouldn't read too much (negatively) into how long you stay at UR1.

Not sure how they would know. The info isn’t on the cas report and even if it was, which it isn’t, they wouldn’t update schools upon registration like they do with a new score. How do schools know?

They definitely do know. Stanford and Berkeley held my application due to the December LSAT which I didn't include on my application because I wasn't sure I was going to actually take it and didn't want them to do just that.

However, in this case their FAQ states you must take by December 2017 if you want to be considered for admission, so I doubt they'd hold for February. If you want to be 100% sure, just email and tell them not hold.

Wow that's awesome, congrats! I'm surprised there's any movement today. Hopefully that means there will be more UR2's for all those stuck at UR1 since 11/13

Not to be a downer because we truly have no idea what adcoms are really up to, but I did some digging and it seems that last year people were going UR2 throughout the holidays, but there was no new DLS until Tuesday, January 10th.

I submitted before my December LSAT was released and went UR 1 on 11/16. Went UR2 (or UR1.5?) today, 12/27. Not sure if that means they just got my new score or not.
