Hi guys,

So Duke's wording on the Character and Fitness section is a little vague so thought I'd ask here - is there a need to disclose a noise violation? Duke requires an explanation from someone at my UG, but I already e-mailed them and they said I had nothing to disclose since it was a house rules violation. Also is a noise violation even a "Disciplinary conduct question?". Should I still err on the side of caution and disclose and ask my UG to submit a letter saying I have no record? Lmk, and thank you!!

i had to disclose a similarly minor thing to duke. my school had no record of it, so the deans cert thing said exactly that. if you got a warning or a sanction or whatever the language asks for, just disclose and explain what it was for. nobody will care

I also disclosed something that I just got a warning for that wasn't on my Dean Cert. I just noted in the language that it wasn't elevated to any official record and doesn't show up on my dean certification (which I still had my UG send clean) also yeah I'd probably disclose a noise violation as a conduct issue unless it was literally just an RA knocking and saying to keep it down

For PT people— how long did it take you to go from “decision made- watch for email” to actually getting an email? I’ve been waiting for like an hour, and wondering how anxiously I should be refreshing my email lol.

I waited about an hour but I've heard of people waiting several hours.

Applied PT, today is my 8th day since app went complete. Status tracker changed around 10:00am PST this morning, and just got the acceptance email now, 4.5 hours later.

Ha! Mine switched on a Friday around 4pm to decision made and I didn't get the email until around 2pm Saturday. I was seriously concerned I was going to have to wait until Monday.

Yep, Under review with a date in mid November and then date changed to the 5th.

In through PT. Took the full 10 days. Is there any reason to not consider a provisional acceptance to be a "real" acceptance? Has anyone ever not gotten in after getting a provisional?

Pretty sure everyone is "provisionally accepted."
