Congratulations to those who are awesome enough to have already been accepted!
Can you throw a little love out there and tell the rest of us if you did the optional essay and/or the optional response? Did you do a why GULC essay?

I did why gulc at the end of my PS. I also did the optional response. Honestly, those questions are pretty fun ones in my opinion and it can't really hurt you to put in the extra effort.OLitch wrote:Congratulations to those who are awesome enough to have already been accepted!

I don't know if it's "bad," they just want to take another look at you and you happen to live near where they're conducting interviews.ruizdaw wrote:Is the interview a bad sign here?

IT COULD BE WAITING AT HOME RIGHT THIS SECOND IS WHAT YOU'RE TELLING MEgobears!! wrote: Correct. You get a handwritten note from the dean of admissions. There will be a trick later in the cycle where you can log into the admitted students portal before receiving a letter if you've been accepted, but that isn't available yet.
Yay! I can be neurotic about this now!
I was almost afraid after Duke and UVA I'd have to wait until November before I'd start expecting anything.

the wait is bad enough without the extra time of international air mail...
