I got an offer today without any supplemental essays.

My whole essay was centered around rudy and how he is my idol.

Also received scholly letter yesterday. About what I expected though there were a few last year with similar numbers who received 15-20K more

With a 35k per year scholarship and a bunch of other soft factors, NDLS is probably where I will end up - does anyone have any perspective on the best housing options? Especially info on rent/quality?

If I don't get glitter, Notre Dame can forget about me attending there. Would rather attend Appalachian Law over a school that skimps on the glitter.

If I don't get glitter, Notre Dame can forget about me attending there. Would rather attend Appalachian Law over a school that skimps on the glitter.

YEAH! You've got to stand up to injustice!! Although a handsome scholly letter really does have a way of making up for other... deficiencies like a glorious speckling of golden sprinkles

With that in mind, I would like to withdraw my name from being considered for the entering JD class of 2020 at your school. As far as South Bend housing goes, there is:

1. FOG (Fischer / O'Hara-Grace), which is on campus and for graduate students only. FOG lacks a dishwasher, no in-unit laundry, must share a bathroom, can be furnished, and no covered parking. $630/mo., all-inclusive.
2. Overlook at ND, which is off campus (but adjacent) and for graduate students/faculty only. Relatively new, SS appliances, in-unit laundry, private bathroom (or shared if you want a roommate), can be furnished, and no covered parking. $900-$1500/mo., all inclusive.
3. Foundry, which is off campus (but adjacent) and for all people 21+. Relatively new, SS appliances, in-unit laundry, private bathroom, unfurnished, and covered parking. $1300+/mo., utilities not included.
4. Lots of apartments nearby
5. Lots of rental houses nearby

I looked hard and chose #2.
