DLS'd within the last half hour... Don't really care though... Even if Stanford admitted me through the waitlist, I would probably still go to Penn.

Sorry, I know this has been asked, but I thought someone had a percentage of people that generally get in through the WL. Does anybody know this?

Whatever the percentage, it's small enough not to be statistically significant year to year. I just think it really depends on what their deposits look like and how the people on the waitlist stack up to the people who might withdraw. So I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I was accepted back in January and withdrew this week (one of the hardest decisions I have ever made). I hope someone nice gets my spot. Good luck to everyone.

Got my DLS snail mail today. They were unable to offer me admission D:

Looks like the west coast didn't really want me. Their loss.
