Being obsessed with doing work for LS with the sole purpose of being at or near the top of the class. Also, abandoning a normal social life, sleep cycle, technology, and all other forms of amusement and homeostasis in order to achieve said outcome.

how do you guys feel about the possibility of having to pay sticker at Mich?

Given that I would not settle for anything lower than a T14 and my numbers are fairly mediocre at all of the T14, I would likely be sticker anywhere. Being in-state at UM gives me a negligible break (really, really negligible). However, UM's awesome LRAP program is the biggest draw in terms of financing my education. I plan to do public interest/government work, and UM's LRAP is one of the best in the nation, so the thought of being $180k+ in debt gives me less pause being at UM than it would at a comparable school with an inferior LRAP.

My sentiments exactly. As for gunning, I plan to make law school my top priority regardless of debt. Why wouldn't you? It doesn't mean you have to be a prick.

Looks like the mail woman will have today's answer to my ND future.

If Michigan binds me this is mute. If I do not get bound by Michigan , and ND offers an EA acceptance, then it will be Notre Dame all the way, barring some miracle from Harvard/Yale prior to January 29th. I think at this point I would chose ND over a GULC acceptance.

I'm settling for "get my rejection/deferral from Michigan.....never".

We are crawling to 12/15. But I'm not expecting to get in anyhow...c'est la vie. I'm def part of "USS: Resigned Patience" at this point.
