I'm pretty sure I'm gonna send in my seat deposit. I don't feel like waiting for Boalt or Michigan. I currently live in LA, and I hate moving. Cost of living in the Bay Area, alone, is enough for me to withdraw. So, here I am, eating my tacos and celebrating. I will see you all at the admit student events and orientation.

Best of luck to those who are still waiting or trying to get off the waitlist. :!:

Also, this happened to me and I was freaking out when TLS kindly reminded me about the status checker...so check there 8)

LMOA, I just re-read my PS and found a very silly typo. I was embarrassed and amused at the same time. It doesn't matter at this point b/c I got accepted, but other schools probably had a good laugh. I'm still laughing tho... all the way to the ASW :D

All the real crazies (myself included) try to get into the mindset of an adcomm and then re-read the app after submitting.

I couldn't hold myself back from rereading it :cry: I think more self-righteous schools auto rejected me (and for a good reason), but I'm still happy that UCLA overlooked my silliness and inattention to detail. I can't remember exactly, but I was probably drinking wine when I was proofreading my app. Bad idea! :x
