Just got a waitlist update saying that they aren't expecting to go deep (if at all) into the waitlist.

It just asks me to send in another LOCI. I thought I was ding-ed when I saw the email title. But I guess if HYSCCN pulls from UVA Law's class significantly, there should be some movement later down the line.

This explains why UVA wasn't keen on negotiating this cycle - higher yield than expected perhaps.

My update email basically says: not taking anyone, please despair. I am not sure this is playing hard to get or really trying to let me withdraw. Anyhow, plan on sending in another letter in a few days.

With this last waitlist update, I'm giving up hope on there being any openings. Still will stay on since it would be fairly easy for me to attend if I were accepted but I'm not hoping for anything anymore.
