Yea. It changed dates 4 times for me before I got accepted.

I submitted a why NDLS essay.

I also submitted the "Different Kind of Lawyer" essay which I guess is similar to a "Why NLDS?"

Yes, I did. A few days after acceptance. It's actually pretty nice, nothing over the top but the quality of the paper/ink/material is top notch.

I also submitted the "Different Kind of Lawyer" essay which I guess is similar to a "Why NLDS?"

I read that the DKL essay is essentially a rehashed diversity statement so I didn't do it even tho I'm a URM

I did mention being a "Different Kind of Lawyer" twice in my why NDLS essay.

Towards the bottom of the status checker there is a section that says fees. If seat deposits are listed there then you got accepted. If nothing is there other than application fee then you more than likely got wait-listed or rejected.

Maybe it's because I wrote all of the possible essays, and that's just annoying for them to review. Either way, getting somewhat antsy.

Yeah, I've been at App Complete since 12/12 with nothing since then. I'm just resigning myself to them doing things on their own time.

Annoying too because they're one of the schools whose ASDs I really want to attend, and we're starting to get close to when I want to have everything booked.

All I see is Application Fee and that it was waived. I guess I got rejected even though I am above their 75% on both GPA and LSAT

I've read that if you have decision made in the status checker, but no seat deposits or email then you more than likely got waitlisted or rejected and will get a small letter in the mail. But I also read on reddit where some guy got accepted, but didn't get the deposits/emails.

I hope it's just a glitch and that you hear good news tomorrow!
I'm not really sure why you wouldn't write a "why ND" essay, though...it only takes like an hour or so but it can go a super long way...but if you're waitlisted, then I would definitely suggest writing a LOCI because above both 75ths should've been an auto-admit! Good luck!
