I was planning to apply around Nov-Dec, when my app will be perfect, but I will actually apply as soon as the first one here will post his admission, with an incomplete application, rushing the personal statement and forgetting the addenda I prepared carefully in advance.

Has anyone who's gone complete in the last week or two received any kind of confirmation from GULC? I know they have an app status checker online—just not sure how to access it, or, if I'm being too impatient by expecting a response or confirmation :?

I don't know how they are basing interviews this year. I got asked for an interview in mid September before their application even opened, had my interview, and now I will probably submit my app tonight. I don't know if it has anything to do with being complete.

Just got the letter today, which is kind of funny since I sent in extra materials on Monday but the letter is dated the 27th.

Just went to mine -- it's super chill. Just relax and be yourself (unless you have an obnoxious tendency to dominate group discussions. In that case do not be yourself). I don't want to give out specific details on a public thread, but PM me if you want more info.

Does Georgetown follow the time-honored "thick envelope good/short envelope bad" convention?

I think acceptances are just small letters sent by Dean Cornblatt and are not typically larger envelopes. But I could be wrong.

Lol. Admitted Students Website now says it will go live mid-December, you can't attempt a login anymore. They must have been getting questions about it.
