Thanks for that. Was looking at a reciprocity map and though it doesn't respect anywhere else, I thought it might be easier than that. Dunno what I'd do with my carry for 3 years + work years if I decide to go and stay. Premises License doesn't seem too bad or unrealistic for application purposes. But that $340 though...

Correct. It appears Residence/Business/Firing Range are the only allowed carrying locations, even being mandatory to have a license to do so (which seems ridiculous imo to need a license to carry in my home). But I may be misreading that.
