Same here. They won't release via phone. Do you mind sharing stats?VeteranAdvocate wrote:"Decision made and will arrive by mail."
No phone call yet. UR 1/21 Decision 1/23.
Is it unacceptable to call and just ask what decision they made?

Hey, everyone!
Congratulations on everyone who got accepted here!! I am a 3L and getting ready to graduate from FSU Law so I wanted to just see if anyone had any questions regarding the school or Tallahassee in general? I am glad to answer any questions. I think you all are going to LOVE it here. It is an amazing school. The professors are some of the best and always willing to help.

Those of you that have received "decision made-letter sent", how long did it take for the letter to arrive? I live on the Treasure Coast of FL. I got a notice from FIU on Tuesday,(and FSU on Friday) and still have not recieved the letter..

It took 3 days from FIU for me and I live a county away. But you can call and if you get the right person they'll tell you over the phone. Don't know for FSU.FSUHopeful wrote:Those of you that have received "decision made-letter sent", how long did it take for the letter to arrive? I live on the Treasure Coast of FL. Logged onto Status Checker. It says that my status is Hold. Any guesses as to why they may hold an app after its complete?

Hold just means they are considering you further. It's between admitted and wait list.

Terrible LSAT (153).. Took it twice, and studied extremely hard 18 hours a week , but got the same score both times. (Hard to do when you have a wife and kids and a full time job). I have great references from the county that I teach in (I have been an inner city 4th grade teacher for 10+ years). Teacher of year semifinals twice. I have a 3.71 LSAC gpa. 38 years old.

Did u mean FIU or FSU? I have a very hard time believing FIU would reject a 153/3.7.FSUHopeful wrote:Denied by letter to FIU.

Re: FSU Law c/o 2018 Applicants
In the most recent data I've seen, among applicants between a 150 and 154, FSU received 61 3.75+GPA and 87 3.50-3.74GPA applications. Of those, they accepted 30 (49.1%) and 15 (17.2%) respectively. That's a big GPA range you're falling into, and you're on the high side. I'd say you have an outside shot.
