Anyone else get a weird email from Financial Aid for prospective students this morning?

I did. I just got admitted last week. Do they send this out to everyone or is this a subtle "you aren't getting any scholarship"

I'm still at complete... I was hoping that it meant I was about to be admitted

I got this and already received a merit scholarship, so they must just send it to everyone.

I didn't get an email (nor a scholarship) and was admitted in December, but I already submitted my FAFSA and NeedAccess...so maybe it's related to that?

I'm (finally) complete, but didn't get any email. I've already done my FAFSA though so I'm guessing you're right. It must be connected to those who have not completed that yet.

I didn't receive the email, have been at complete since October, and have not yet done the FAFSA, so maybe it does mean you are getting good news soon.

I got that email last week. If you scroll back a bit, you can find where I was asking about it.

I was told by admissions that anyone that claims that they can receive in-state tuition has to do it if there is something that isn't evident in that claim. For instance, I'm active duty military so I can receive in-state tuition. I had to fill out an application and attach my orders and an ID.

As far as I can tell from what I was told, it seems that they usually make you do it if you are a borderline applicant. I'm happy to send you what I received from admissions when I inquired about it if you PM me.

The outrageously long "we haven't lost your application yet, we know it has been a while, we still know you're waiting, we just aren't ready to make a decision yet, and don't really know what to do with you, so just hold tight" email.

Did anyone NOT hear back within 2 weeks after their Darrow interview? I'm assuming it's not a good sign, but it's hard to get other work done while waiting =\

Also...it's a phone call if you get it and an email if you didn't right?

I just got scholly info as well and am totally shocked, in a good way. Feel like I outperformed numbers. Happy to share details over PM.

Seems like Michigan is sending out a lot of money today - just got my offer as well
