I applied the 3rd. Would be cool if they internally moved my app. to PT at some point, but I will just expect a decision at the usual time. I'm not complaining if I get one soon, though.. Unless it's a denial, I guess.

was playing with some numbers on MyLSN and LSN and saw that there were people who applied ED to Duke and still got like $60K. is this a common thing for Duke? they all had above median GPA (though not at the 75th+) and between 25th and median LSAT. $60K paired with the cheap COL in Durham isn't a bad deal for someone who applied ED imo.

Anyone else get invited to the admissions event in DC? Is this a LSAT/GPA type of invite or is it a larger group?

I got emails from two different groups of schools and their events are on the same night .

I haven't taken the LSAT yet, and I received the same e-mails...I'm leaning towards the Duke/NYU/Stanford discussion.

Is there any reason not to apply through priority track?


And if anyone wants to know, my LSAT is 75%ile and my GPA is just under 25%ile.

None that I can think of. There's really no trade off to it, it's just like a beefed up fee waiver

Okay that's what I thought. It was just odd that they also require the person who gets the priority track opportunity to register for it instead of automatically applying it.

UR2 as of this afternoon. Went complete 9/7. Last time I got wait listed and don't think I ever left ur1 so I think it's a good sign. Or maybe not, whatever I gotta do to stay sane these next few days

Okay that's what I thought. It was just odd that they also require the person who gets the priority track opportunity to register for it instead of automatically applying it.

I think its so they can estimate how many people aren't going to apply with it so they can extend more offers, and maybe get a feel on how many PT-worthy applicants are planning on applying, to gauge the applicant pool

Do they send out decision emails on Saturday as well? Mine was completed 09/07 and the 10 day mark falls on a Saturday.

I went ur1 on 6/9 and ur2 in 6/13

they've probably already made a decision and can email you whenever they want but choose to make you sweat. at least that's what I like to picture them doing.
