How do you know when your application has even been received by Harvard? When you receive an email from them? (Woes for being late on this train...)

I applied 15 September, received an 'application received' email the same day, went complete 23 September.

Thanks for your reply! Should I be concerned if I submitted late Saturday night (aka Sunday for all intents and purposes), and still haven't received an "application received" email? I might also just be a bit neurotic, but if this is one of those automated email things... (And no, I didn't mistype my email )

Nah, I submitted early on the 23rd and didn't get an email until the 25, and those were business days. You should be fine and will probably get an email within a few days. I totally understand the neuroticism though.
