Submitted my app. Got no reason to expect admission, but stranger things have happened. Good luck, folks.

How do you know when your application has even been received by Harvard? When you receive an email from them? (Woes for being late on this train...)

I applied 15 September, received an 'application received' email the same day, went complete 23 September.salander wrote:How do you know when your application has even been received by Harvard? When you receive an email from them? (Woes for being late on this train...)

Nah, I submitted early on the 23rd and didn't get an email until the 25, and those were business days. You should be fine and will probably get an email within a few days. I totally understand the neuroticism though.salander wrote:Thanks for your reply! Should I be concerned if I submitted late Saturday night (aka Sunday for all intents and purposes), and still haven't received an "application received" email? I might also just be a bit neurotic, but if this is one of those automated email things... Looks like completes are way ahead of schedule this year, can we reasonably expect first wave of JS1s during the first week of October?
