Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
Finally received my waitlist letter in the mail today. Can't even decide if it's worth sending a LOCI. I'm bitter that they took over 15 weeks just to waitlist me.

You never know? Maybe a ton of people will withdraw and the lot of us will get lucky? Haha

It just concerns me that no one on LSN has posted a rejection who has applied later than Jan 1st 2015. I don't know if it's just cause people are feeling salty and therefore don't update their profiles or if its legit because Vanderbilt hasn't sent out rejections yet.

Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
In comparison, the decision activity posts from Class of 2017 2013-2014 cycle thread. Not a lot of posts with great news
06/30 Just got in off the WL w/ decent scholarship.
06/18 in off the WL today via phonecall
06/09 I was accepted off the WL a few weeks ago. I think it's very important to visit Vanderbilt and meet members of the admissions office in order to give your application an edge.
05/16 Decision came today! Wait list! I'm actually so excited and grateful that it is not a ding.
05/16 Waitlist arrived today via USPS.
05/16 Rejection by USPS to end a painful cycle
05/09 Status changed to decision mailed 5/7, and just received the wailist paper via usps today. Trying to decide if I should stay on or not. Best of luck to all still waiting!
04/07 complete 2/3. Also, in via FedEx phone call.
04/03 Checking in. Accepted last week. Planning on visiting next weekend. Wish it could have been tomorrow for the ASW. Hope everyone there enjoys it!

Any idea how much weight to give the above?storpappa wrote: 06/09 I was accepted off the WL a few weeks ago. I think it's very important to visit Vanderbilt and meet members of the admissions office in order to give your application an edge.
Does that hold true for us 12+ week application complete people or just waitlist?

Every time I see one of these charts I feel like more of an assclown for getting applications in so late.

Yep, me too. I also feel the same way when I realize it's almost May and I'm still waiting on 2 schools...

+1 still waiting on 2 even though I'm deposited at another and will probably end up attending a completely different school. (I was accepted after depositing)gillian wrote:Every time I see one of these charts I feel like more of an assclown for getting applications in so late.

Same. Waiting on 2 t-14s and Vandy. But I'm 99% headed to Emory because, y'know, I like free things.
