Checking in! Did anyone submit a Diversity Statement to UCLA that is not related to disability/socio-economic disadvantage?

I think their topic is very specific so I'm not sure if it's okay to submit a DS in their optional addendum (my DS deals with religious and cultural discrimination, if that helps!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!

I heard in less than 2 weeks, so I think it depends

Hey thanks for the info! Do you think (or does anyone know) if it would be bad that I submitted my diversity statement in the socio-economic disadvantage addendum? (Not the disability addendum) I wrote about religious and cultural discrimination so I thought that was more "socio-economic" than "disability"... any help would be appreciated!

That would be me. Applied in September, had a weird delay in going complete that makes me think they forgot about me, mb that's what happened with the decision as well

Any idea if applying for the Distinguished Scholars Program will effect the timeline for decisions? Would they tell me if I'm in before they make decisions for the scholarship?

I graduated last year, so my relevant experience consists of college leadership and volunteer positions, and a couple internships. Is that enough for me to apply? Do any KJDs or one gap year students apply or have a chance of getting into the program?

I also don't know if they'll think it's strange if I don't apply for it since I clearly have an interest in PI. I'm considering noting in my Why UCLA that I hope to apply for it in my 1L year if I decide not to apply now. Thoughts?

Our personal statements have to be 12 font, but do the rest of our writing supplements have to be as well?
