There is good among all of the disappointment UVA has brought to the world today.

Thanks!! As we're creeping closer to February, everything has gotten kind of weird with ghosting. I for sure thought I would get waitlisted/dinged until movement happened last week. Hoping you hear back soon with good news!

Thanks!! I went complete at the end of November - pretty sure I went UR1 right after. I went UR2 12/12 with no peep until last week.

When did you submit?

Feels like it happened another lifetime, but I went complete/under review on 9/14.

Same UR date and nothing since but no waitlist email yet... guess that’s coming for me soon lol.

UR2 1/19 after going UR1 on 10/20. Any guesses what that means?

LSAT = 75
25 GPA 50

For those going to admitted students days in March, has anyone heard if hotels in the area offer discounts or promo codes to use? I know the law school does stipends based on location, but they don't even cover the hotel room if you're from DC.

Reach out to a student group (one that you are interested in joining) and see if they would be willing to house you in one of their homes/apartments.

What is the general time frame of interview invites. I went UR1 in early Jan and UR2 1/16. Getting nervous that people who went UR2 after me have received interview invites.

Depends on the person. Some people get an interview invite the next day, some the next week, some after a couple of months. Some people (like me) have been under review since October and have heard nothing. It’s only been a few weeks, try to stay patient.

Interview request came via e-mail. It was Skype but I think I've seen a mix of both on this thread?

I would’ve preferred Skype but had to do the phone due to technical difficulties!

Yes, however sometimes meeting Dean Faulk and co. at an event can serve as your interview.

Yup, all admitted students have either been interviewed or some equivalent of talking to the admissions committee. Also, generally you have a pretty good chance of being admitted if you kill the interview. Because for a majority of the cases he's ready to admit you on the spot and the interview is more of just a screen to make sure you're personality matches the application.

I was UR1 in late october, UR2 in november and didn't get an interview until over a month later in December
