How does the chances look for people in FR2?

I think it's the same thing as FR1, just for people who applied later. Anyone get a notification for FR today? Still silence for me Ur 12/21

This comes as a relief, but also a slap in the face since Berkeley has always been my top choice, but I cannot reasonably justify moving across country without the BLOS (like I stated this flat out in my application). Since BLOS interview invites went out awhile back I am assuming there is no hope for me?

Also sorry to everyone who received bad news today, I hope you all fare better with your other applications or are accepted off of the waitlist!

I understand how you feel - BLOS was my only shot of actual attendance. Hopefully they'll grant some interviews off the FR folks and you'll receive one! Not sure if they did last year, but I would look in the thread.

I submitted in early October and went UR in mid-October. Depending on your UR date, you may be pushed to FR2 (notifications for that should be coming out soon).
