Admitted via status checker after interviewing yesterday!!! There's hope for all us reverse splitters hold out guys!

Congrats! I interview Monday so hopefully it goes well.

Any info on how soon after admittance they give out their scholarships?

Dont stress about the interview it was by far the most casual one I've done and I had a lot of laughs with my interviewer.

This is probably a really dumb question, but how do you differentiate between UR1 and 2? Does it tell you in your status checker somewhere? Mine only says "application under review," which I assume simply means UR1...?

Essentially, if the date changes, we are assuming it is then UR2...the significance of which is still questionable!

My under review date never changed, I just got an invitation to interview, interviewed over the phone, and was admitted shortly after that!

From what I've heard, usually an interview means you're in. I would suggest contacting the admissions office if you don't hear back by Friday.

Has anyone received more specific information on admitted students weekend yet? Does anyone know if UVA offers a travel stipend for ASW and if so, how much it is?

Just trying to figure out my schedule/financials for the spring ha.

So how did people receive an interview request??
I got an email from one of the directors saying "I’d like to set up a time to discuss your UVA Law application. We can make it a Skype call or a phone call, whichever you’d prefer. Right now, I have availability throughout the day......" IDk but it just felt weird and a little less formal than other interview requests I have received (ex: Cornell/ Georgetown)

That was how I got my request too! Very informal / directly from the interviewer. My interviewer also emphasized during the actual interview that it was meant to be a non-intimidating, low key and chill getting to know you type of thing. I felt like my interviewer was looking more at my personality/fit for UVA and actual desire to go rather than learning more about specific stuff from my app.

splitter stats GPA<25 and 75<LSAT, seriously was not expecting such a fast turn around but I'm thrilled!

Ugh, even worse here -- I went UR1 November 2 and it's been radio silence since then. Hope we both hear something back soon!
