Roll your eyes all you want! It's just something worth keeping in mind. No one has to accept what I say just because I said it (i'm not that kind of liberal arts student :)), but it's worthwhile to be open to the possibility of thinking about how language might impact other people.

I would guess it is more a question of application strength than timing. Top applicants could probably submit any time in November and hear back in the first wave.

Good luck to everyone! I got in last year on the very first day of calls so I know how insanely exciting today will be for some of you! For reference i applied as soon as apps were open and didn’t get the call until super late as well (like 7PM my time or 10PM eastern time) so it’ll likely be a long wait today!
