Whenever I communicate with UofM's Office of Admissions I feel like I'm talking to the people of Pleasantville. These people are so nice in their correspondence.

Via the FAQ: "Following our June 15 second deposit deadline, we have decided to make three waitlist offers; we will be reaching out over the course of this week. We will also be releasing those candidates from whom we haven't heard in response to our email of a couple of weeks ago."

Received a feeler phone call...hope I didn't scare them away when I mentioned my huge scholarship offer I already have elsewhere. Michigan is a great school so I'd love the chance to seriously consider going there...guess we will see!

May I ask if you can share your stats -- just trying to figure out what they are looking for.
I am URM low scores across the board and was surprised to even get a WL offer.

Well my huge offer scared them off...they said they wouldn't be able to compete with what I have so it looks like that's one less person you have to compete with on the waitlist. Good luck everyone. Will be telling them they can withdraw my app
