I have resigned myself to the fact that we won't get placed until July. Anything sooner will be a win! :D

Pretty much this.

Waiting is made only harder bc I have tons of people asking me every week if I've heard where I will be placed.

I haven't spent much time in Denver so I can't really help you out there. No shortage of good breweries in the area, though.

Update: Got an email back today after responding to the placement/start date email. They will "update my file" to reflect my preferences. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Also going to Colorado and got that email today. What kind of placement are you hoping/asking for?

E: I know little about Colorado and have no real ~need to be anywhere in particular, but I obviously have preferences, and am unsure if I should express preferences for particular offices or just general areas.

Bar application submitted on Sunday, mailed off the two forms yesterday. I feel a little bit lighter.

Anyone from out of state moving to CO for the summer to take bar classes? It would be nice to have my placement before I spend money on a sublet in Denver or Boulder, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Anyone have any idea how long it'll be before we know something?

I'm hoping we find out this month, anxiously waiting on a call!! Who else is moving to CO from out of state/ the east coast? I'm flying to Denver on the 27th for the bar and then taking the Aug 1 professional responsibility class which is required (figured I'll get it out of the way).

Hmmm...I didn't notice there was a PR requirement! I guess I might as well stay an extra day as well. Man, this is getting so expensiveeeeeeee! I'm also coming from the East Coast! I'll PM you.

Congrats. Looks like a great place to work. I interviewed in 2013. There were some legislative funding issues, and my second round interview opportunity came too late. I'd already signed up for a bar in another state. I often regret not waiting and taking a job with the Colorado State Public Defender.
