It seems like the timeline is all over the place because I interviewed and received an offer at the SEC back in March.
It is decentralized among offices. I received an invitation to interview at a specific office in DC a week and a half ago.

That's impressive. Are you willing to say which? I received and accepted an offer for HQ, but I would have preferred to start in New York. They let you choose only one office when applying. I chose HQ thinking most of the opportunities would be there, and so the competition for spots would be fierce ....
