Anyone hear form Philly, especially someone who didn't interview at the interview weekend?

Philly started making offers two weeks ago for top candidates and is now making offers for other candidates. Fall class should be filled by January.

I know at least me and one other person have accepted an offer from BxD. don't think they finished making offers though.

Recent grad who just passed the bar. I just applied to the Orange County Public Defender's Office and was notified I met minimum qualifications and will be scheduled for a Oral Interview / Structured Oral Examination in 2-3 weeks.

Is this basically a panel interview where they ask the same scripted questions to everyone and those who score the highest advance to subsequent/final interviews? Anything I should know or expect? Thanks

Had a first round interview with LAS, said we won't hear back about final round interviews until March.

I feel like all of us going to Colorado should form a support GroupMe to keep ourselves busy until we hear more information. Currently filling out my bar exam application in the portal.

I had no fam commitments and essentially applied to all places that hired pre-bar, and were in a UBE state I thought I would like living in. That came down to NYC offices, mass, Hennepin, Seattle, Colorado for me and a couple others.
Def consider CoL and salary and the office’s representation model as well!

I looked at 1. who hired pre-Bar and 2. what the office culture was. a lot of checking websites and our alum network to see who was happy, what hiring processes were like, etc.

Right!! Any idea when we figure out placement...I know our offer letter said well be contacted in the spring but the waiting game is so hard!

From a quick search, it looks like in June and July people were still waiting to hear!

Ugh, just started the bar app. This is going to be a pain in the ass.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure we're in for a long wait, re: placement.
