Per community page it says that interview candidates have been selected and the notification should've changed online. If it did not you were not selected. Congrats to those selected!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 7:30 pmSelected for interview on Avue portal. Haven't gotten an email or anything.

Is the due date for submission of a writing sample and the interview scheduling form based on the date you received the email? Just being extra cautious and wanting to make sure I don’t miss anything.

That's how I took it, yeah.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 2:41 pmIs the due date for submission of a writing sample and the interview scheduling form based on the date you received the email? Just being extra cautious and wanting to make sure I don’t miss anything.![]()
They also should fix one of the lines in the e-mail. When asking you to send in the interview scheduling form they say "Submit only the Interview Scheduling Form (no attachments, please)".
It's probably more clear to say "(no other attachments, please)", since the ISF will obviously need to be attached.

Re: DOJ Honors Program 2020-2021
It may be component specific. For instance, the EOIR-OCIJ " Requests a writing sample and current résumé as soon as possible but not later than 5 days after notification of selection for interview."Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 2:41 pmIs the due date for submission of a writing sample and the interview scheduling form based on the date you received the email? Re: DOJ Honors Program 2020-2021
Top 10%/ranked 19th at a TTTT regional school, law review, moot court, teaching fellow (tutor), research assistant, clinic, prior legal assistant experience before law school, fluent in German, judicial externship, SLIP + volunteer internship at DOJ. I applied to 1-FBI, 2-CRM (fellowship and tr/atty), 3-DEA (ALJ and OCC), Tax-CRM, NSD, and OIP. I got an interview at DEA-OCC. I received the email this afternoon.
I also applied to non-DOJ honors programs and had a screener with NSA (am still waiting to hear back from the others--FCC, FTC, DHS (non-ICE), Dep't of State).
As an aside, for those who mentioned no interview with tax or NSD, the informal components may choose to notify of interviews at a later date.

Has anyone been selected to interview with ATR? If so, was that your first choice?

Anyone heard anything from NSD?
Do informal components actually work on a different timeline than formal components?

They absolutely can. Some may choose to follow the same general timeline, but they don’t have to.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 1:54 pmAnyone heard anything from NSD?

Re: DOJ Honors Program 2020-2021
Top 70 law school grad from 2019. In DOJ Honors at OCIJ after doing a 3L externship at DOJ OIL.
Interviewing at OCIJ-BIA, OIL-APP, and OIL-DC. Also waiting on conversion/permanent attorney-advisor positions in the immigration courts (gave them my top five cities when I applied).
A lot of BIA and OIL positions go to people who did their time in OCIJ it seems.

Just got my interview schedule. Honestly can’t believe it’s happening. K-JD, T14, mediocre grades, DoJ and DHS experience.

Did anyone who sent in their materials to EOIR receive a confirmation email? I did not, but did for CIV and wanted to make sure I sent to the right place.

Congrats to those who got interview. Are the interviews going to be done remotely? Wonder what else Covid-19 issues will impact this hiring circle.
