I am looking for housing in the Bay Area this summer (SF/Oakland/Berkeley/Sausalito), somewhere that is no more than a 45 minute commute to the Embarcadero Center via public transit. I don't need anything fancy since I will only be there for two months, just looking for something affordable since I will still have to pay my rent back home. Open to a swap, possibly, but realize it is highly unlikely that anyone from the Bay Area will be spending their summer where I live and attend law school (New Orleans). If there are any Berkeley/Hastings/Stanford students that will not be in the the Bay Area this summer and would like some help paying their rent I would love to hear from you.

I have a studio ~20 minutes from Downtown Chicago (it's in Lakeview close to the lake). It's available for May, June and July, and the electricity and Internet (10 ping; 55.42Mbps down; 11.01 Mbps up) are available along with water. The unit is furnished (has a desk/chair and and bed that you can use - I just politely ask that the bed be used cleanly).

The cost would be 850 for the rent, 55 for the internet, and variable for the electricity (since it varies and I don't want you to overpay - but it should be ~ 35 at the most). So the total would be around ~ 940 per month for everything included. PM me back if you're interested.
