Does anyone know anything about Harvard University Housing (non-law school)? The apartments look nice and nearby...

I've been to a few and they're pretty nice! The walls aren't the thickest so you get that standard apartment noise, but the ones I visited are nice and spacious and quite close.abck99 wrote:Does anyone know anything about Harvard University Housing (non-law school)? Is that walkable?gilmoregirlrevival wrote:For those looking at off campus housing, for reasonable prices to rent an apartment that is not too far from the law school, try Somerville. It is a lot less expensive than Cambridge.

Yeppers! About 15-20 mins depending on how far into Somerville you are. I'll be in Somerville barring unlikely circumstances and it's delightful. Much more space for your dollar.HonestlyThough wrote:Is that walkable?gilmoregirlrevival wrote:For those looking at off campus housing, for reasonable prices to rent an apartment that is not too far from the law school, try Somerville. Woah woah woah, Somerville doesn't have *that* much room. Maybe try quarters.HonestlyThough wrote:Same. I've heard that 29 Garden Street doesn't have furniture... some of the university housing looks really nice but I don't want the hassle of buying furniture and sublets for the summer. I think I will try to get into a North single if my lottery allows.

Anyone else looking at Gropius just for the sake of the built in social network? I think I can deal with dorm housing for a year if it means making some amigos

Re: Harvard Law School - Class of 2020
I recently signed a lease that is fully furnished right across from HLS, but I have no intentions of keeping any of the furniture and am willing to give it all away for free. Please PM me if you're interested and I can send you pics. It's all in really great/decent condition. You can take whatever you want anytime between June-August.unpetitpacifiste wrote:I've heard that 29 Garden Street doesn't have furniture... some of the university housing looks really nice but I don't want the hassle of buying furniture and sublets for the summer.
