I believe that need-based awards are capped at about 60k?catalina559 wrote:For anyone who has received really big scholarships (over 90k), were they need + merit or all merit?

I guess I'm more curious if they give out purely merit awards over $90k?genjustice wrote:I believe that need-based awards are capped at about 60k?catalina559 wrote:For anyone who has received really big scholarships (over 90k), were they need + merit or all merit?

My 150K came in the form of 30k per year merit, plus 20k per year for the Berkeley Law Grant

looks like there is a gym in Memorial Stadium law students can use. Fees included in tuition. Closer than the main rec center

I got more than 90k in all merit. A month or two ago they told me I didn't qualify for any needs-based aid, and I just got this award last week.catalina559 wrote:I guess I'm more curious if they give out purely merit awards over $90k?genjustice wrote:I believe that need-based awards are capped at about 60k?catalina559 wrote:For anyone who has received really big scholarships (over 90k), were they need + merit or all merit?

Same as above.. I didn't get any need-based, but got over 90k in merit after negotiation.moreberry124 wrote:I got more than 90k in all merit. Does anyone know when we'll hear back for Manville/Ida housing?

Hey Guys,
I haven't received an email from them but today I logged in calcentral and found out that I was awarded "20k" under "grand total"
10k for fall 2017
10k for spring 2018
Nothing said about the other semesters.
Does this mean that the 20k is all I've got?

Is it too late to apply to Manville? I've visited the website a few times but I can't even click on the button to fill out an application.

Just did. Awesome advice, thank you! Helped a lot. Can't apply until you've SIR'd apparently.

Received FA notification. No scholarship or aid; only loans. GPA 50<x<75, LSAT 75<x. Please tell me that I'm not the only one who got such a package (or that this is not unusual, for that matter).

I also got 0 need and merit. LSAT between 50 and 75, GPA above 75th. Middle class. Though I doubt it needs to be said, I have since withdrawn after not hearing back about reconsideration for 3 weeksKaijuOh8 wrote:Received FA notification. No scholarship or aid; only loans.
