frustrating... you want to be relieved bc you finished a class completely, but you've got another exam around the corner and know you should be studying or something

Yeah my CivPro exam was an 8 hour take home, and the most difficult part of the exam was keeping it under the 3300 word limit. My contracts exam is also 8 hour take home, and that word limit is 3000. Not much looking forward to that.

My last exam is a take home on Monday and it is so hard to find the sense of urgency for studying compared with a shorter on-site exam.

Actually relieved I have no take-homes. It sounds nice in theory, but it generally entails prolonging an already painful, anxiety-inducing exam. I prefer to just get it over with.

ETA: at least it seems like that's what it entails. I could be totally wrong.

I kinda liked my 8-hour take home, but then I haven't taken an in-class yet to compare it to. But in general, I didn't feel stressed about taking a few minutes to walk away and think about something, I could look at my outline without worrying about time, etc etc. I have a feeling that for an in-class exam, I would have needed to "study" more, in the sense of getting familiar with my materials and memorizing more stuff so I could find the information faster. As it was, I could focus more on making sure I actually knew how to apply the material.

Congrats! But im there with you. Pretty sure for torts i did 0 analysis and only listed the required elements for each issue. Not thinking about it/dreading civ pro (tomorrow) and contracts next week have kept me fairly sane.
