Anyone have any insight into the IP offerings at Vandy? Looking through their site seems like its a pretty good curriculum/clinics/etc. I'm looking into hard science/patent stuff

I don't really want to deal with my laptop at the airport, so probably just an ipad and a print out of the case.bab93 wrote:Sooo what is everyone bringing to the school Friday? Just a notebook or entire laptop/bookbag setup...since we have class and all

I'm missing Thursday too. I'm considering khakis on Friday just to get my south on. Unfortunately I wasn't frat enough in college to own a pair of crokies or a seersucker jacket...mist4bison wrote:Also wearing jeans on Friday! Not attending Thursday, though. Sentences like this are what give Texans pause when people ask whether we're a part of the South or not.Generally wrote:I guess I could wear my seersucker on Thursday night to be adequately southernGreatBraffsby wrote:I'm missing Thursday too. seersucker or gtfo. If you live in Texas you should know they are a life saver during a southern summer. Comfy too.BirdLawExpert wrote:

So bar review starts around 10, and the ASD events start at 7:30 am Friday...
Is anyone else planning on going to the dinner and bar review Thursday night after the reception? Looks like Friday is going to be a looong day, lol

I won't deny their comfort, but there isn't a city in Texas where you can wear seersucker and not get glared at all day. We're not fancy like the rest of the south.Generally wrote:seersucker or gtfo. I'm planning on attending the April ASW. Does anyone have any affordable recommendations for hotel rooms? They all seem to be outrageous!

Check out Airbnb. I found a place to rent for the night nearby for 80 a night.janderson821 wrote:I'm planning on attending the April ASW. Does anyone have any affordable recommendations for hotel rooms? They all seem to be outrageous!

+80. Vandy won't reimburse Airbnb, but the difference between a decent Airbnb and a decent hotel was much more than $50 for me.The Abyss wrote:Check out Airbnb.
