Another way to lower your debt is to apply for paying position during your first year so you can work for a firm and be one of the lucky few who gets a summer associate in big law after 1l. most people do an unpaid clerkship the summer after one 1L I think.

@Mike, I don't think the admin allows you to work during your 1L year. Somebody needs to double check.

I meant during summer after 1L not actually during the school year.

So I sent in a negotiation email late Wednesday night. If I haven't heard any response yet, when would be a reasonable expectation of when I should hear back? Sorry if this has been asked and answered to death already.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. It keeps shrinking. I don't mind it though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that small class size.

Interesting also to look at LSN--a lot of people withdrawing this week. There's more monies for us

I know of 2 people who are enrolling that aren't in the group and saw a couple who are in the group that have other law schools listed on their profiles

It's not unheard of for other schools; I'm not sure about USC.

Haha that sounds like a great plan, bubblez. I think mine will involve a lot of Netflix and CA beaches.

size of FB site at this stage means nothing. A ton of people who will matriculate probably don't know about it or don't care just like they don't know about these very useful forums.
