Has anyone had success negotiating scholarships with Penn? I haven't been offered any merit aid from them but I have sizable offers from 3 lower T14s that I was going to mention. I'm still negotiating with those three and haven't emailed Penn yet--am I making a mistake by waiting to email Penn? Is it likely that they will pull a UVA and run out of money? Penn is my #1 choice btw. Thanks for any input!

April 15th is deadline for named scholarships so lots of money esp in 60-105k range will probably free up

I didn't get it and I've been super obnoxiously emailing them every week asking when I can expect to hear about merit aid - so they definitely know that I've been waiting on it.

Successfully negotiated up from nothing to 50k, but unfortunately that's not going to be enough. I think I may just withdraw, since I'd need almost double to make it attractive over $$ elsewhere. Bye, Penn. :(

Will they tell you if you are not in the running for merit aid? I emailed Penn about an early scholarship deadline, and they emailed me saying they'd keep that in mind. Haven't heard a word since then... Not sure when/if I should follow up. :?

I just got this email, it looks like they're trickling out.
Email says that I should receive an update by the third week of April.
Do people have scholarship deadlines this week or next week? I wonder if they are waiting for some money to free up.
