Some stay in Ithaca and work here, but most get a job outside of Ithaca wherever they want. They can go back to whatever market they're targeting, but some choose to live in random locations for a bit. If you're doing public interest / government, you get a $4K stipend. There is a dining hall of sorts that connects Hughes to the law school. It's called Fork and Gavel cafe, and it serves breakfast and lunch during weekdays. Having a meal plan is completely unnecessary to buy stuff there there because you can just pay cash. I've never eaten there. My year, only about 10-15 students in Hughes had a meal plan, and they usually went to other dining halls in the area.
