So, is anyone else really anxiously awaiting the email after the call yesterday? I keep looking at my phone for the Cambridge, Mass. phone number to remind myself that it actually happened. I wish I had let it go to voicemail to have more definitive proof. I can't even remember what I said except, "Thanks"

Haha, yes. Having the Cambridge, MA phone number in my calls list is good enough for now, I guess. I said thank you so many times she probably didn't know what to do. I feel like there's a certain balance that has to be maintained when you get a good news call from an Ad Comm. I'm sure it's one of the most positive parts of their job so I want to sound excited/happy to be getting the call but not batshit crazy.

The very reason why I'm glad I'm living abroad; we get emails instead of phone calls! I find it better because for one, I don't think I can hold off on the uncontrollable sob when JS actually calls and gives out the good news, and two, I have a proof that my acceptance wasn't just a product of my wishful thinking! :D
