Hi, did any of you move into unfurnished housing? How do/did you acquire and move furniture into your apartments on move in day?
I am from out of state, so I will be arriving (with several large suitcases) in NYC only a few days before my move-in day. I'm hoping to avoid humiliating and disastrous debacles of mattresses or sofas crammed onto subways.

Also, is there somewhere to find our 1L textbook list in advance? Do they change often? I'm hoping to buy my books as soon as possible.
