I was offered 20 k/year from BU
I LOVE DC/want to work in gov.

Think GULC is the choice since you love DC, want to work in Govt, and its the only national of the bunch.

If you want to live in DC and do gov't, yes. If you want to live in LA, maybe - UCLA isn't a ton cheaper, saving housing costs is nice but you still have other expenses so that only saves you max 10k/year. 20K less to go to Boston if you don't want to work there doesn't make sense to me - I think you will have more than 60K worth of frustration/reduced job ops throughout life in DC/LA if you do BU instead of GULC.moali88 wrote:Is it worth the sticker price though??
Obviously though the math is for you to do and deciding more solidly where you want to end up.

I think UCLA is completely out:
DC really isn't that expensive- you probably won't save a dime in housing costs in LA. With the state of California being as it is, the planned tuition hikes actually exceed the cost of GULC.
