Yes, definitely try a second time. I did (not a Chicago, but as a reference) and ended up getting more.

75k-->90k, based off one slightly-less-than-full ride from a lower t14 and that was it

Congrats Marshmallow! Thanks Bom (I'm rooting for you to get a full ride to NYU) and Mal, I will definitely give it another go. Chicago would make the most sense for my goals, but I need a little bit more $ for it to be the smart choice for me.

They refused to budge.
Any thoughts on when/how to try again? Should I use the form again or send an email straight to Petty?

Ahh I really hope I receive my negotiation response today. I sent in the form pretty damn late (this Monday) but I'm so tired of stressing about which law school to go to

Sending my deposit in too. At this point it's more likely that I'll attend Chicago than any other school.

Withdrew last week, here's hoping all that money falls into your negotiation pots.

Has anyone tried renegotiating scholarships yet? My award was just upped from $90k -> $105k, but I was hoping on a little more to convince me away from HLS. I feel like I used all my bargaining chips the first time around and don't really know how to go about asking for more cash aside from reiterating that I might deposit at another school
Also, only two days left D:

I've been trying to get a hold of them for almost two weeks but no luck.jaesonko wrote:Has anyone tried renegotiating scholarships yet? Yeah, but it's not the ruby. I got the impression this is a new one. It's the Hormel Public Interest Scholarship.applelover wrote:Ryan11212 wrote:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure! I'm pretty much right at both medians, decent softs though w/ work experience.drawstring wrote:Congrats Ryan! Do you mind sharing your stats/initial offer?
I was initially offered 45K, appealed after penn offered me the levy (full tuition).
I think it definitely helped that I was public interest, since I get the impression they're really trying to attract more PI applicants.
